We at The Life Center are devoted to bring our mission of LIFE into the community by educating those who enter to see the beauty and value of each human life. We believe that life is a precious gift given to us by our Creator, and that He alone has the power to give and take life.

  We are committed to support those who are in crisis pregnancy situations by offering them material, moral, and spiritual support.

  We are also committed to encourage those who are single parents in need by providing them with material items such as diapers, formula, infant and children’s clothing, infant equipment, and emergency food assistance. We want to be available to offer them our love and prayer support. We want to demonstrate the love of Christ in a real way and let those who enter know that He cares and so we care too!

SERVICES PROVIDED AT THE LIFE CENTER

• The Life Center reaches out to women who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. We provide prayer, a listening ear, and Biblical direction to each one of these, in many cases, desperate women. We offer free maternity clothing, infant layettes, and medical referrals. We educate through the use of literature and videos, explaining the development of their unborn baby. We provide transportation to and from medical appointments if necessary.

• We offer monthly assistance to mothers by providing diapers, formula, infant equipment and clothing, children’s clothing, and women’s clothing. Warm jackets, coats, and boots are provided during cold weather months. We have a generous supply of children’s and women’s shoes available for those in need. Many of the mothers have come for pregnancy tests, others have come because of being referred by the Community Crisis Center or some other agency.

• We offer programs for our mothers directed by Christian counselor Louise Forshe. The programs build self-esteem and an awareness of God’s love in the lives of those who attend. Also, Dianne Perrone, R.N., teaches women to care for their babies during our Mom’s Connection Meetings.

• We offer a free Pro-Life, pro-family library. This includes literature, books, periodicals, and videos. We have everything from information about fetal development to disciplining “A Strong Willed Child” in our collection of books.

• We provide Bibles, both in English and Spanish, Christian tracts, and Daily Bread Devotionals to our mothers who visit. They gladly receive them. We have had the opportunity to lead many to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
